YODA Mindcare raising funds for their “life-changing” group

Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind’s inspirational Young Onset Dementia Activists group (YODA) have raised over £4,000 for the “life-changing” service with a sponsored walk.

The group, who completed the 5km trek around Beckenham Place Park in Kent earlier this month, aimed to raise £2,500 but, at the time of writing, donations had soared past £4,000.

The money will go towards developing the service and helping it expand to reach further local people who may feel isolated after receiving a diagnosis of Young Onset Dementia.
