Experts by Experience
At the Centre for Applied Dementia Studies, we work together with people with dementia and their families and carers in all areas, in research, education and training. At the moment, we have over sixty people who work with us either through co-presenting, teaching, developing training materials or through sharing their experiences of what it’s like to live with dementia. We want to ensure that the real voices of people affected by dementia are not just at the heart of all we do but that those people are part of our team. we’ve been working on together as well as opportunities for people to join us.
