The Laverstock Memory Support Group has had another busy quarter!
This is captured in their latest newsletter LaverstockNewsletter 1908. Elizabeth and Angela who facilitate the group also came to London to meet up with other facilitators from the Network.
‘In addition, our group is affiliated to DEEP. The Network supports groups like ours that try to ensure the voices of people living with dementia are heard and remembered.
Because of this Elizabeth and Angela who facilitate our meetings were invited to a one-day meeting of DEEP facilitators in London.
They found this a very interesting experience and were struck by the diverse nature of the DEEP Groups as they all work in different ways. Yet all of them had people living with dementia at their core.
Elizabeth and Angela were very encouraged by meeting other facilitators who have similar aims to ourselves.’
