The Lewisham Advocacy Group have developed a leaflet of handy advice for people with a new dementia diagnosis. The group have compiled helpful tips they wish they had known at the point of their diagnosis and supportive wisdom they have learned through their own journeys living with dementia. The leaflet has been printed in a snazzy format and is now being distributed by the Lewisham Memory Service and Clinic at the point of diagnosis. We are so proud that these messages are reaching people to try instil the message that there is life after a diagnosis!
