Here is the May/June 2021 Newsletter from Springboard and Let’s Be Heard in Oldham. The featured photograph shows a set of very well wrapped up folk enjoying some happy time together in the fresh air.

The board write:

“Welcome to all our members and friends.

We hope you are all managing to keep safe and warm during this challenging period and have managed to have both vaccinations.

We can only meet up via ZOOM despite some relaxation in restrictions. Meetings of Springboard are taking place each Thursday on ZOOM from 1.00pm until 3.00pm – although to date many have over run this time! It is good to see an increase in members joining and taking part. Hopefully by the next edition we will have good news on face to face meetings. Walking in the park based at Chadderton Hall Park has started again commencing at 1.30. Included with this newsletter you will find Bingo tickets for use at future ZOOM meetings. Hopefully during May we will be having a growing activity to do in your own home. You will be issued with a plant pot to decorate, compost and seed. This will be independently judged. Paul C is still not well with long covid.

The committee and friends from Making Space will assist in setting up ZOOM on your device should you need assistance.”
