“I was given the Unforgettable Music Maker & Digital Radio on loan from Ceartas Dementia Voices group to assess its practicalities and ease of use.
Summary:
I found the device to be well designed and pleasing on the eye. The instruction manual instructions were clear and concise with adequate graphics. The initial set up of the radio was simple and easy. The setting up of the music took a little more time as I first had to load music tracks onto the USB stick. Once the USB stick was loaded, playing the music was as easy as using the radio. The device allows you to listen to DAB stations or FM stations dependent on the settings (Up to 5 radio stations can be pre-set). You can also set alarms
that alert you with buzzers or turn on the radio and also set the radio to turn off after a set time. The stand by screen can set to dim and also displays radio stations and song titles being played from the USB stick. I have also loaded audio books onto it.’
