This autumn, a new version of ‘Knowledge is Power’ is published. This one is for England, while the previous two are for Scotland and Wales.
Knowledge is Power England: making life easier after a diagnosis of dementia’, is full of information, resources, and support for anyone with dementia and people around them. The booklet will be especially helpful
for people newly diagnosed. As well as a printed edition, there will be an online version, where it will be easier to follow through website links.
We’re very grateful to have the previous editions to work with, and we’ve added a few things, including an extract from Wendy Mitchell’s book, ‘What I wish people knew about dementia’. We also have some lovely DEEP illustrations by Tony Husband, which bring humour and warmth.
Our aim is to make dementia less scary, give you hope and information. With the information at your
fingertips, we hope you will see we can still live our lives with dementia. Here is all the stuff we wish we had known about – all in one place.
Knowledge is Power England is edited by Maxine Linnell, Lorraine Dunn, Peter
Middleton and Rachel Niblock.
