DEEP Group Success
The Centre for Applied Dementia Studies was delighted to learn that its application to become a DEEP group has been successful. DEEP stands for the
Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project which aims to explore, support, promote and celebrate groups and projects led by or actively
involving people with dementia across the UK that influence services and polices affecting the lives of people with dementia. This is a great opportunity for the Centre’s Experts by Experience group to engage with other dementia groups across the country and tap into the expertise of the DEEP members and facilitators as well as being able to use the vast array of resources.
