Lockdown has exacerbated existing tensions within relationships where one partner has a dementia.
People have not stopped getting dementia during lockdown, yet diagnostic and other support services have been severely impacted.
Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund we have received funding to support up to 15 couples of any relationship through a formal Getting Along programme
Getting Along seeks to equip couples themselves to get along better with the presence of a dementia in their relationships.
