The ninth of our series of DEEPER conversations is taking place on the 7th June at 10.30am.
Special provision will always be needed for some people with dementia at certain points in their lives.
But mostly, people with dementia live their lives as part of wider society……..and that’s just the way many people like it.
However, there is still a widely-held view that people with dementia need separate and special provision.
Dementia Friendly shopping sessions at supermarkets or swimming pools for example. This sometimes happens at the cost of a wider look at what can be done to make these services accessible for everyone.
So how do we stay part of non-dementia society for as long as possible?
What can we and those around us do to make that a reality?
Please join us for what look set to be a lively and fascinating discussion.
Date 7th June – 10.30am-12.30am
