A message from Dawn Irvine
“I am in touch with you today to advise that two of our forthcoming dementia friendly events are being cancelled in light of daily emerging information regarding corona virus. Capital Theatres are currently closely monitoring the UK government and World Health Organisation information and we have an action plan in place for limiting the spread of infection in our venues. Currently our main programme of performances and community events are still taking place.
We have made the decision to CANCEL the following:
Monday 16th March – Dementia Friendly Tea Party for St Patricks Day 2.00pm -3.30pm. Please be advised that our box office will automatically issue a refund of any tickets you may have booked.
We have made the decision to POSTPONE the following:
Saturday 28th March – Our Time Takeover Day 11.00-3.00pm (New Date for this will be confirmed shortly). Tickets for this have been cancelled by our box office.
We haven’t made this decision lightly but feel strongly that it is our duty of care to our participants, given the age range of many of our dementia programme participants and the likelihood of people having lower immune systems and/or long term conditions, that everyone’s health and well-being remain our top priority at this time.
Capital Theatres will continue to review official updates daily, but currently only these two larger gatherings are cancelled”
