A DEEP facilitators and co-facilitators session –
Capturing words and voices poetry and shared reading session.
What: Come along to a live poetry session with Liz Jennings.
When: Wednesday 3rd November between 12.30 and 2pm on Zoom.

Liz will help us to think about:
*What is poetry and why it might be useful for capturing voices, feelings and thoughts in your group.
*Discuss how you might create a poem with your group members
*We will sit and write together with the option to share or not.
*What is shared reading and why?
Session Plan:
Introductions (10 minutes)
What and why poems (10 minutes)
Scribble away (20 minutes)
Share your work or just talk about how they found the process. (20 minutes)
A short DEEP break (10 minutes)
Shared reading and responding to a poem or book excerpt (20 minutes)
Summing up and farewells (10 minutes).
- Please note places are strictly limited to 12 people.
- Priority will be given to folk who have not previously been involved in a poetry session with Liz.
- If we are over-subscribed, we will offer a waiting list and we will hope to run further sessions if there is interest.
- If you register and then can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can release the place to somebody else.
