Dear DEEPers,
I am wondering how many of you are sitting cuddled up in electric blankets nursing munchkin acquired bugs… looking out on to a very wet, grey and cold day …. For those of you reading this on a beach in some hot climate ….or in your dreams … (certainly not a Scotland East Coast beach as you get battered by the latest storm…stay safe everybody).
It is really hard to be upbeat about anything at the moment as it feels like the world is going increasingly cruel and mad. Hence savouring moments of real pure joy like gathering conkers (that kids no longer collect to bruise each others knuckles with) with my munchkin Teddy – each one being a wonder of ‘WOW!!!’.
Thanks to Maxine Linnell I have also discovered ‘The Wonky Donkey’ – she told me it was a recommendation for the munchkins – but honestly if you have never read ‘The Wonky Donkey’ I highly recommend – warning – you my laugh a lot and you may adopt this a great new speech therapy tool. I am probably really late to the party on this one – but thank you Maxine for a great suggestion.
Now down to business.
I want to remind you about a couple of things.
