There will be an official launch of ‘sharing a diagnosis leaflet’ in Cardiff on November 12th. This has been developed by members of the Kymin and Memory Jar groups with the support of Dr Rosslyn Offord.

If you need any costs covered to attend then please check with Rachel Niblock first as we have a very limited budget.
Places are very limited and the event only lasts an hour (12.30 – 1.30). You may feel it is a long way to come. Rachel is hoping to record the launch of the event and share with you if you are interested please let her know.
But most important of all is that there is an opportunity for you to have a say even if you can’t be there. It would be brilliant if the network could contribute some comments and these can be shared on audio. If you or anybody who is part of the DEEP network wants to make a comment please get in touch with Rachel as soon as possible. We suggest that you keep your comment quite to the point.
A point you might want to make might be:
‘What is important to you about how professionals give us our diagnosis?’
Or
‘the language you use is important because….’
or
‘we need hope because’
